Job Title: Engineering Manager

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Manager to lead our teams in designing and improving technologies and methodologies to support the development of compressors and related products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily activities of the team, prioritizing tasks and ensuring project targets are achieved.
  • Lead the development of new technologies, simulation procedures, tools, and analyses to support compressor projects.
  • Evaluate project results against design requirements, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Implement guidelines and procedures to achieve engineering efficiencies, reducing costs and increasing productivity.
  • Propose and guide solutions for component and system design based on engineering specifications and requirements.
  • Manage product competitive benchmarking, staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Prepare technical presentations and analysis reports for internal customers, communicating complex information effectively.
  • Coordinate and facilitate group meetings, working with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's degree or 3 years of related experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience of 1 to 3 years desirable.
  • Strong understanding of commercial refrigeration components, theory of operation, and practical application.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of positive displacement compressor technology and refrigeration systems.
  • Understanding of FEA structural, dynamic, nonlinear, acoustic analysis, and CFD, as well as engineering calculations.
  • Knowledge of specifications and standards applied in the commercial refrigeration industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to respond to inquiries from engineering and internal customers.
  • Project management skills, with ability to prioritize and perform assignments often with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle, and Matlab.
