We are seeking a highly skilled Business Controller to join our Controlling & Product Finance team in Volvo Group Trucks Technology. As a Business Controller, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial direction of our company and driving business performance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain financial forecasts and operational goals for Vehicle Engineering, providing financial insights to inform business decisions.
- Provide consolidated quarterly expense forecasts and ensure timely month-end closing deliveries.
- Perform variance analysis, reviewing and challenging reported actuals and forecasts, and prepare management presentations.
- Work with continuous improvements of methods and tools to optimize business processes.
- Secure cost control and efficiency, ensuring compliance with Volvo Group financial policies and procedures.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
We are a global team of Business Controllers and Finance Project Managers located in Gothenburg, Bangalore, Curitiba, Lyon, and Greensboro. We are a collaborative and dynamic team that values mutual trust, respect, and continuous improvement.
Requirements- University degree in a relevant field.
- 5-10 years of experience in business controlling or a similar role.
- Experience from AB Volvo is considered a merit.
- IT proficiency, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP R/3. Power BI is a merit.
- Fluent in English.
