About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Financial Strategist to join our dynamic team at Volvo Group. As a Business Financial Strategist, you will play a critical role in financial planning, analysis, and decision support for our Sales Area. You will collaborate closely with senior management to drive strategic initiatives, optimize financial performance, and ensure effective resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to senior management.
  • Monitor KPIs and financial metrics.
  • Collaborate with Latin America Controllers and Commercial leaders to understand operational drivers and financial implications.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with Volvo's financial policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate potential opportunities, risks, and scenarios to support strategic decisions.
  • Mentor and coach junior members of the finance team.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Play a key role in driving digital transformation initiatives and fostering a continuous improvement mindset to enhance business productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Proven experience in controllership, financial planning, and analysis, and/or business partnering preferably in automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of VPS and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Collaborative mindset, reaching out to others to solve problems and promote continuous improvements.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Fluent English; Spanish is an advantage.
