Business Intelligence Analyst Job Description

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a vital role in driving business growth by extracting insights from data and presenting them in a clear and actionable manner. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, operate, and maintain data and analytical pipelines that deliver high-quality insights to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, SQL, and Excel, with experience working with large volumes of data. You should be able to communicate complex concepts and analysis results clearly and effectively, both written and verbally. Additionally, you should be skilled at creating or discovering new data procurement and processing programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data models and architectures to meet business requirements
  • Develop and maintain databases, data warehouses, and data mart structures
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into a centralized repository
  • Perform data quality checks and ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Develop reports and dashboards to present insights to stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst
  • Strong background in data analysis, statistics, and data processing
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
