Procurement Specialist

The Purchasing Intern role is a dynamic position that involves updating quotations in SAP, assigning the correct supplier for purchases, and following up with domestic and international suppliers.
- Update quotations in SAP by comparing domestic vs. international suppliers;
- Follow up with domestic and international suppliers to support overall follow-up responsibilities;
- Adjust the invoice monitor for deviations not corrected by the inbound responsible;
- Check invoice errors and coordinate with suppliers to fill out the correct XML;
- Enter delivery confirmations in SAP, analyzing supplier date vs. order date, and report deviations;
- Inform management of necessary adjustments in Origin and NCM;
- Report to the team about deadlines and deviations during follow-up and notify suppliers;
- Update delivery dates in SAP according to management criteria with accurate data such as flags and types for domestic, imported, ML, and services;
- Schedule meetings for improvements and identify critical suppliers;
- Attend weekly follow-up meetings with ML on delivery status of parts;
- Control repair returns and industrialization returns.
Required Skills:
- Studying Production, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering;
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Intermediate English proficiency;
- Knowledge of Power BI;
- Availability for a 2-year internship;
- Flexibility for shifts from 8 am to 3 pm or 10 am to 5 pm;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Desirable: knowledge of purchasing processes, negotiation, and logistics;
- Desirable: knowledge of SAP system.
