Our organization seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee production activities in a manufacturing setting.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will collaborate with management to establish production and quality control standards, develop budgets, plan and oversee production activities, and coordinate production with procurement, maintenance, and quality control.

  • Collaborate with management to set production and quality control standards.
  • Develop budgets and cost controls, and gather data on product types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates.
  • Plan and oversee production activities, establishing priorities to ensure efficient operations and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate production with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to optimize the use of human resources, machinery, and equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Key qualifications include 5-10 years of experience in wood products manufacturing at a supervisory or superintendent level, proven leadership skills, effective communication skills, solid knowledge of performance management and continuous improvement processes, excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and team-building skills, strong understanding of optimization equipment and processes, and organizational skills with the ability to lead change initiatives.
