Job Title: Project Director

Project Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead our projects and ensure timely delivery of business benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, identifying project dependencies, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manages and leads projects to deliver intended business benefits within set timelines, budget, and quality standards
  • DIRECTS activities of global cross-functional teams and collaborates with organizations to identify and communicate project dependencies
  • Creates program timelines and detailed project plans; assesses Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), resource loading, dependencies, and milestones
  • Plans and manages budgets associated with technology projects; evaluates percentage complete, supervises actuals to budget, and mitigates overspend
  • Collaborates with business teams on ROI measurements and benefits realization compared to baselines; ensures risks/issues are surfaced and mitigated
  • Supervises external vendors and ensures compliance with organization policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory, and project-specific requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably with Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
  • Familiarity with formal organizational change processes and methods (Prosci or similar approach)
  • Strong financial acuity and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and be a creative problem solver
  • Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
