Our field, global working capital finance, represents a $5.5 trillion total addressable market that is expected to grow an additional 50% by 2026, driven by increased supply chain complexity, digitization of the invoicing process, and growing demand for longer payment terms. Our aim is to become the global leader in the working capital finance space.

The Role:

A credit risk associate determines the creditworthiness and risk profile of a business by analyzing their financial data and deciding whether or not to extend them credit. Credit risk analysts must be able to handle very high levels of responsibility in their jobs. The credit risk analyst will conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and assessment of credit requests, including new requests, changed requests, refinancing, and annual due diligence. It is also the responsibility of the credit risk analyst to provide recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk, especially that involve a borrower's ability to repay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering information about clients
  • Reading financial briefings
  • Assessing, analyzing, and interpreting complex financial information
  • Keeping company credit exposures within set risk bearing limits
  • Keeping knowledge of key issues up to date (for example legal, market risk, and compliance issues)
  • Making recommendations about procedures/policy changes

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, credit analysis, or finance
  • Qualifications in business management, finance, accounting, or economics are required
  • Advanced English and Intermediate Spanish proficiency is mandatory
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office; strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data; ability to effectively manage competing deadlines for projects in a high-pressure work environment, with varying degrees of supervision
  • Individual of high integrity with the self-confidence to see many sides of a problem and resolve issues with empathy and intelligence, plus the ability to remain calm and rigid under pressure from sales management
  • Highly organized, analytical, and strategic thinker who can identify and solve problems in an efficient manner
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with experience of delivering executive presentations to upline management
  • Individual must have held an underwriting authority in a previous credit risk related role
