FIFA is set to establish a local subsidiary in Brazil, aiming to work collaboratively with FIFA HQ in Zurich and globally to deliver the 2027 Women's World Cup. The Senior Event Controller will oversee the budget and forecast process for this project.

The Position

Key responsibilities include assisting with budget preparation, implementing financial tools, preparing cash flow forecasts, leading financial planning and review processes, and presenting quarterly forecast outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in accounting, financial planning, and analysis, as well as knowledge of budgeting and reporting tools. Fluency in English is mandatory, and international experience is an asset.

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant contribution to a major global sporting event.

Responsibilities also include:

  • Assisting with budget preparation and implementation
  • Implementing financial tools to support the project
  • Preparing cash flow forecasts and analyzing results
  • Leading financial planning and review processes
  • Presenting quarterly forecast outcomes to stakeholders

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required, along with relevant professional experience in a similar role.
