About the RoleYou will lead a team of quality engineers and coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure that quality requirements are met throughout all phases of product development and manufacturing.
Your role is crucial in identifying and mitigating risks associated with non-compliance, and you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective actions.
This position involves up to 40% national and international travel, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Management: Develop and implement quality management systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of quality engineers and coordinators, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate quality-related activities across projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with non-compliance, developing and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Technology Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in heavy manufacturing environments and complex projects.
- Solid knowledge of welding processes, NDT inspections (especially UT, MPI, PT, and RT), and industrial painting.
- Familiarity with international standards such as AWS, CWB, ASME, and EN.
