We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Specialist to support our operations in Brazil and Latin America. This is a strategic role focused on contract management, compliance, and project support.
The position is part of a secondment project with an open-ended duration and will be fully remote. You will work with a global leader in building solutions specializing in automation, HVAC, security, access control, and energy efficiency with operations in over 150 countries.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary legal contact for day-to-day legal matters;
- Review, adapt, and manage contracts, letters, and various documents;
- Support local and regional projects with a focus on compliance and risk mitigation;
- Collaborate closely with the regional business team;
- Update and maintain contract templates and terms and conditions according to local laws;
- Conduct training sessions for internal teams on legal and contractual updates;
- Translate legal documents when necessary;
- Assess and respond to contractual disputes, including customer complaints or penalties;
- Work collaboratively with other legal departments as needed.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Active OAB license;
- 5 to 7 years of experience in corporate law;
- Fluency in English and advanced Spanish;
- Previous experience in corporate or business law environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in multinational companies or regional roles;
- Knowledge of international contract law.
