Mid-Level Lawyer Job Opportunity in Brazil and Latin America

The role of the Mid-Level Lawyer will be to provide legal support for operations in Brazil and Latin America. This is a strategic position that will focus on contracts, compliance, and project support.

As the primary legal contact, you will serve as the key point of reference for day-to-day legal matters, review and manage contracts, and support local and regional projects with a focus on compliance and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, adapt, and manage contracts, letters, and various documents related to operations in Brazil and Latin America.
  • Support local and regional projects with a focus on compliance and risk mitigation by conducting thorough reviews and analyses.
  • Work closely and continuously with the regional business team to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Update and maintain contract templates and terms and conditions in accordance with local laws and regulations.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal teams on legal and contractual updates to ensure knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Translate legal documents when necessary to facilitate communication across languages.
  • Assess and respond to contractual disputes, including customer complaints or penalties, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other legal departments as needed to leverage expertise and resources.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Active OAB license
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in corporate or business law environments
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) and advanced Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking)
