Regional Operations Director – LATAM

The Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Regional Operations Director to lead and scale our operations across LATAM. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing, scaling, and setting up IT/Tech teams, ensuring smooth delivery and operational excellence.

  • Lead daily operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with corporate policies.
  • Collaborate with global teams for seamless cross-functional workflows.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide regular updates to regional/global leadership.
Responsibilities

HR & Resource Management:

  • Oversee all LATAM resources to ensure productivity and quality.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, HR compliance, and performance management.
  • Monitor attrition rates and implement proactive retention strategies.

Tech Operations Oversight:

  • Manage and scale tech operations and delivery teams.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery.
  • Provide credible oversight in technical discussions with clients.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers across LATAM.
  • Act as the primary liaison for client needs, service delivery, and customer success.

Operational Leadership & Strategic Growth:

  • Adapt and execute market-specific strategies aligned with global objectives.
  • Support budget planning, resource allocation, and cost optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8–12 years in senior leadership or country management, preferably in the IT/Consulting sector.
  • People & HR Management: Proven success in leading teams, driving workforce planning, employee engagement, HR processes, and HR compliance, with measurable improvement in retention.
  • Tech Operations Oversight: Demonstrated ability to set up, scale, and manage IT/Tech teams (Must Have).
  • Strategic & Operational Skills: Ability to translate business objectives into actionable operational and delivery plans, while ensuring compliance and efficiency.
