Job Title: Senior People Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior People Advisor to join our People Operations Team in São Paulo, Brazil. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our employees in Brazil and Mexico have a positive and productive experience.

About the Role:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations matters, including investigations, grievances, and complaints.
  • Partner with People Advisors globally to navigate complex ER cases, ensuring compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with People Partners to analyze data and identify trends, informing business decisions and improving ER practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with local employment laws and working practices, ensuring our guidelines, policies, and processes are compliant and customer-centric.
  • Review and improve operational processes to scale the impact of the People team without compromising the employee experience.
  • Contribute to local and global projects, providing advisory input to shape the future of Wise.
  • Develop and deliver People-related training sessions to upskill Leads and address knowledge gaps.
  • Provide additional support to the wider People team and other leaders with ad-hoc tasks and project-based work.
About You:
  • Strong HR experience, with a proven track record in ER matters, investigations, and grievance handling.
  • Subject matter expert in employment law and ER advice, with a deep understanding of Brazil's employment law landscape.
  • Strong growth mindset, with the ability to adapt to a hyper-growth environment and navigate ambiguity.
  • Data-driven approach, with a focus on storytelling and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and foster relationships.
  • Collaborative mindset, with a willingness to challenge and contribute to healthy discussions.
  • Technical skills, including proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, Workday, and a willingness to learn new technology.
