Key Responsibilities:
Finance Collaboration
- Oversee the implementation of financial processes across the organization to support designated partner sectors, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting.
- Engage with leadership in the assigned sectors to formulate strategic initiatives for their areas of responsibility.
- Deliver financial guidance and collaboration with all tiers of management within the designated sectors.
- Work alongside the reporting Center of Excellence (COE) to provide standardized reporting for KPIs relevant to the assigned sectors.
- Lead the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for a five-year horizon within the designated sectors.
- Collaborate with the Plant Finance COE to ensure that management in the designated sectors receives adequate support on accounting and costing inquiries.
- Partner with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) on the five-year planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the assigned sectors.
- Coordinate with Controllership and FP&A teams on analysis during monthly and quarterly closing periods.
Leadership and Development
- Mentor and coach other members of the Finance team.
- Provide clear direction and constructive feedback to team members to ensure a solid understanding of their responsibilities.
- Offer insights to leadership as part of performance evaluations and career development for indirect reports.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in financial partnership roles.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to connect financial reports to business strategies.
- Focus on process enhancement and cost management, with experience in performance management and KPI monitoring.
- Experience managing multiple projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial management and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Teams.
- Experience with SAP.
Work Environment:
This role offers a hybrid work schedule. The position is based in São Paulo, Brazil.
