Expert Environmental Modeling Specialist

As a highly motivated Senior Data Scientist, you will work on environmental modeling, particularly in row crops such as soy and cotton.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in data processing and machine learning programming in Python, with proficiency in building scalable solutions on the AWS platform. Experience with remote sensing data in modeling is highly preferred.
- Develop sophisticated environmental models to assess the impact of various factors on crop growth and yield.
- Utilize Python for data analysis and machine learning to extract insights from complex datasets, including remote sensing data.
- Build and deploy machine learning models and data solutions on the AWS platform.
- Collaborate with agronomists, scientists, and stakeholders to integrate domain knowledge into modeling efforts.
- Conduct research on environmental variables affecting crop performance using remote sensing data.
- Present analytical findings and model outputs through comprehensive reports and visualizations.
- Mentor junior data scientists in best practices for data analysis and environmental modeling.
