Position Overview:

Varsity Tutors LLC, a subsidiary of Nerdy, is in search of a proficient and seasoned Salesforce Solutions Architect. In this role, you will take charge of overseeing and enhancing our Salesforce ecosystem to improve our sales and customer relationship management workflows. Your collaboration with diverse teams will be essential in gathering requirements, configuring Salesforce functionalities, and promoting user engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Relevant certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator are highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with extensive familiarity with Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Account Engagement, etc.).
  • Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration, including custom objects, validation rules, flows, and Lightning components.
  • Strong grasp of Salesforce data models, data management best practices, and data migration strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convert business needs into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders, requirement gathering, and user training.
  • Detail-oriented and self-driven, capable of managing multiple projects independently.
  • Knowledge of security principles and best practices in Salesforce, including user management, profiles, roles, and permission sets.
  • Commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and staying informed about Salesforce updates and emerging technologies.
  • Experience working in agile environments and collaborating closely with designers and engineers to define and implement features.
  • Familiarity with middleware/iPaaS platforms, such as Twilio Segment, MuleSoft, or Dell Boomi, is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Salesforce Configuration and Customization: Spearhead the configuration and customization of Salesforce to align with the evolving needs of the organization. Design and implement custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules to facilitate business processes.
  • User Support and Training: Provide advanced support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Salesforce users throughout the organization. Conduct training sessions to educate users on Salesforce functionalities, best practices, and system updates.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with the IT department to integrate Salesforce with other business systems, such as marketing automation, ERP, and customer support platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Develop and execute data management strategies to uphold data integrity, accuracy, and security within Salesforce. Create and tailor reports and dashboards to deliver insights into sales performance, pipeline, and other critical metrics.
  • Process Optimization: Evaluate current sales and CRM processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement streamlined workflows and automation. Continuously enhance Salesforce to boost productivity, efficiency, and user adoption.
  • System Upgrades and Enhancements: Stay abreast of Salesforce releases, new features, and industry best practices. Plan and execute system upgrades, enhancements, and deployments in collaboration with the IT team.
  • Security and Compliance: Enforce security controls, user permissions, and data access policies in line with industry standards and company protocols.
  • Documentation and Governance: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, customizations, and integrations. Establish and uphold governance policies, standards, and procedures for Salesforce usage and administration.
