Transportation Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing transportation infrastructure projects.

  • Develop and implement engineering design projects, including highway design, hydrology, and drainage calculations.
  • Conduct traffic impact analysis and safety evaluations.
  • Assist with the preparation of signing and pavement marking plans, MOT / construction phasing plans, transportation management plans (TMPs), and lighting plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience with engineering software, such as MicroStation and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering principles, including geometric information, structural analysis, steel/concrete design, basic hydrology/hydraulics, and basic geotechnical/foundation design.
