We're looking for a Sustainability Professional to join our team in Latin America and the Caribbean region. This role will be based out of Sao Jose Dos Campos, Brazil.

About the Role
  • This is a Senior Regional Sustainability Specialist position responsible for tracking and analyzing regional and local legislation, news releases, and public policy issues related to aviation environmental policies, national climate policies, and ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) space.
  • You will partner with colleagues around the globe to develop and advance an effective policy agenda, including Boeing teams in Europe and Brazil.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to inform and guide the company's position and advocacy plans to represent the company's interests in Brazil and elsewhere in the LAC region.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Advocate for aviation climate policy, support the scaling of SAF (Sustainability Aviation Fuels), and promote regulatory frameworks that support energy transition.
  2. Develop and nurture relationships with government, non-governmental organizations, customer coalitions, business associations, and think tanks to identify areas of mutual interest and strengthen the company's position.
  3. Collaborate with commercial, defense, and services business units and relevant functions to understand and help advance their strategies, goals, and activities through engagements in the Sustainability space.

  • You have a strong understanding of sustainability principles, practices, and policies.
  • Excellent communication and partnership-building skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Able to analyze complex data and communicate findings effectively.
