About Our Sustainability Role:

As a Regional Sustainability Manager, you will play a key part in our company's global sustainability efforts. Your focus will be on translating international sustainability goals into regional programs and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop regional initiatives that align with the company's global sustainability targets.
  • Lead regional investment projects to achieve our 2030 sustainability ambition by driving decarbonization, circular material usage, and circular water management.
  • Establish standards for sustainable manufacturing in LATAM in collaboration with our engineering team and ensure compliance.
  • Promote the implementation of circular practices for waste and water usage in our manufacturing facilities.
  • Drive digitization of sustainability-related processes, including data tracking and analysis.
  • Organize regional Sustainability Management Reviews, which will involve risk and opportunity management as well as the regional network of all functions related to Sustainability & Environment Performance.
  • Enhance organizational competences in Sustainability through workshops, best practice sharing, and local engagement programs.
  • Support regional and site management in implementing Sustainability programs, including the Sustainability Ambassador program.
  • Coordinate regional Sustainability Scorecard/Projects & Investment reviews and provide technical expertise for projects' sustainability assessment.
  • Support the implementation of energy management systems and energy efficiency programs at the global and site levels, including ISO 50001 and global/site Environmental Management system ISO 14001.
  • Act as a Sustainability/Environmental counterpart for major investments/projects and support processes for site decommissioning and divestment, as well as due diligence and M&A integration.
