Cloud Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the maintenance and optimization of our AWS-based environment for an electronic health record (EHR) platform. This high-trust, high-autonomy role involves taking ownership of compliance, performance, security, and scalability as we grow.
Key Responsibilities- Taking full responsibility for the AWS environment, ensuring ongoing HIPAA compliance, operational stability, and performance.
- Evaluating existing infrastructure, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing changes for scalability, cost efficiency, and security.
- Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Collaborating with engineering leadership to align infrastructure with product needs and release cycles.
- Serving as the subject matter expert for all infrastructure-related initiatives, driving innovation and reliability.
- Strong hands-on experience managing and optimizing AWS environments (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.).
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
- A proven track record of taking ownership in unstructured environments and delivering measurable improvements.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence and lead technical decisions.
- Experience in healthcare technology or working with EHR/EMR systems.
- A solid understanding of cloud security best practices and HIPAA compliance requirements for healthcare data.
