Entrepreneurship and Business Storytelling Journalist

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for discovering successful Brazilian entrepreneurs, conducting interviews, and transcribing the material. The entrepreneur must have a net profit of at least R$25,000 per month and operate in an industry that allows new entrepreneurs to start the same business with an investment of no more than R$20,000.

To accomplish this task, the journalist will need to assess each topic during the interview, improvise when necessary, and prepare a written version of the material. All content should be in Portuguese language.

Criteria for Identifying an Entrepreneur:

  • This is an existing entrepreneur with a net profit of at least R$25,000 per month.
  • They operate in an industry that is widely available or allows new entrepreneurs to start the same business (online or offline) with an investment of no more than R$20,000.

As a result of the interview, we aim to obtain a detailed success story, including the entrepreneur's journey, challenges, and successes.

We are also planning to collaborate with entrepreneurs for paid mentoring services. We will help gather a group of individuals interested in developing the same business and willing to pay for guidance.

Furthermore, we are interested in engaging these entrepreneurs as mentors for aspiring or current entrepreneurs.

Requirements for a Successful Journalist:
  • Understanding of entrepreneurship and business concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to engage in pleasant conversations, and experience conducting interviews.
  • Initiative to find innovative solutions to identifying entrepreneurs and improving the interview schedule.
  • Native or fluent Brazilian Portuguese language.
  • Sufficient knowledge of English to communicate with our team.
