About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled eDiscovery Support Specialist to join our team at ExxonMobil Corporation. As an eDiscovery Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing daily support for FTK Central and collectors, managing upgrades and functionality of on-premise applications, and using scripting and other support skills to diagnose issues and pull reporting as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support for FTK Central and collectors
- Manage upgrades and functionality of on-premise applications
- Use scripting and other support skills to diagnose issues and pull reporting as needed
- Explain issues to collectors and Law at an appropriate level for their understanding
- Document and maintain collection processes
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide support for manual collection process when standard tools cannot collect data
- Troubleshoot with IT Service Organizations when manual collections run into technical challenges
- Work with IT Service Organizations to quickly escalate priority collections
- Create/Resolve manual collection incidents and work with resolver team to improve their processes and response time to prevent reoccurrence
- Engage with their engineers to troubleshoot and resolve application bugs and enhancements
- Hold vendor accountable to resolve issues quickly to avoid recycle and delay on legal required deadlines
Project and Future Work
Work on the lift and shift and implementation of the next iteration of FTK Central, Citizen Developer for eDiscovery collection forms in ServiceNow, and Onboarding of new technologies for decryption, data storage either on the Cloud or on Prem.
About You
We are looking for a skilled and experienced eDiscovery Support Specialist who has a strong background in application support, scripting, and SQL ANSI experience. You should have a good understanding of Windows Operating systems and file storage, as well as quality of work and quantity of work skills. You should also have a sense of urgency for completing time-sensitive work, ability to interface and communicate properly with LAW, and customer-focused mindset and attitude.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
We prefer candidates with experience in issue escalation skills, coordination of efforts and influence without direct authority, API skills/experience, and ability to identify process opportunities and share in team discussion. Experience in working with MSP (HCL) and network of peers across EMIT is also desirable.
