Key Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to drive prospect value and adoption of Scylla technologies.

  • Prospect Engagements: Collaborate with the sales team to drive prospect value and adoption of Scylla technologies.
  • Solutions Enablement: Provide technical reviews and deployment recommendations for Scylla in production.
  • Solutions Creation: Develop and document solutions using Scylla. Create integration documents and benchmarks with third-party tools.
  • Training: Develop training materials and deliver training sessions for Scylla users and customers.
  • Collaboration: Work with other Solution Architects and serve as a liaison between customers and product management/engineering teams.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in Pre-Sale/SA roles.
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Experience working in a startup environment.
  • 2+ years of NoSQL database deployment/management, including data modeling and application deployment (Cassandra/Datastax, MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
  • Proficiency in modern scripting languages (Python, Node.js) and/or programming languages (C/C++, Java, C#).
  • Experience with Spark, Kafka, Time Series, and Graph Databases.
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with staff, colleagues, and customers.
  • Deep technical understanding of products.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
