About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fullstack Software Engineering Manager to join our Wellz team in Brazil. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in developing our online mental health care product, driving critical projects from architectural design to implementation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in developing and delivering software solutions
  • Drive critical projects from architectural design to implementation
  • Plan and manage the capacity of the team to handle the product roadmap
  • Monitor and own the team's health, promoting a psychologically safe environment
  • Address code complexity and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions
  • Write and deliver code that enhances overall company quality standards
  • Plan and successfully deliver cross-team projects
  • Propose solution options to stakeholders and product managers
  • Provide estimates on efforts and risks, evaluating technical feasibility
  • Execute architectural changes to improve outcome, efficiency, and reduce costs
  • Help establish a roadmap and long-term vision with PMs and PDs
  • Contribute to company-wide best practices and live the mission of inspiring and empowering others
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in designing and developing complex modern web applications
  • Experience with backend stacks such as Golang and/or NodeJs, and frontend with React
  • Experience in developing RESTful APIs in collaboration with other teams
  • Experience with Cloud-based architectures (AWS/GCP)
  • Proficiency in automated testing and applying it on a daily basis
  • Strong communication skills, both in English and Portuguese
