Job Description- This role involves leading local development teams, reporting to a Software Engineering Manager based in Europe.
- You will be responsible for setting goals, guiding local teams, ensuring the quality of their work, participating in sprint planning and retrospective meetings, assigning and delivering development tasks, estimating complexity and workload, and choosing technical solutions that meet user requirements.
- As a Tech Lead, you will also design, develop, and deploy system changes according to client demands, provide system support, and work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Experience as a Tech Lead or Technical Leader managing development teams locally.
- Solid experience in developing solutions using Embarcadero Delphi 2006 or newer (Delphi 12 preferred).
- Strong skills in Oracle PL/SQL for server-side development.
- Good knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle (9i, 11c or newer).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven ability to work in partnership with Business Analysts and Software Architects.
- Comfortable with unit testing and using mocking frameworks in Delphi.
- Ability to translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions.
- Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and test automation is desirable.
- Knowledge of developing Windows Services and/or GUI applications (UI Forms) in Delphi will be considered a significant plus.
