We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Financial Analyst.
This position will be based in our global office and will involve working closely with experienced professionals on various transactions, including creditor- and debtor-side restructurings, regular and distressed mergers & acquisitions, and capital raising.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic quantitative background in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Law, or related courses.
A fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications, accounting, and finance is essential for this role. Additionally, excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese are required.
Key Responsibilities- Develop financial models and analyze financial statements, industry developments, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Work closely with experienced professionals on various transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of materials for clients, conduct market, industry, and company analyses.
- Strong academic quantitative background in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Law, or related courses.
- Ideal 12 months internship in Investment Banking/Corporate Finance (M&A, Private Funds Advisory, or Debt/Equity Advisory) or related areas.
- Fundamental understanding of valuation theory, methodologies, and applications, accounting, and finance.
- Understanding of financial statements analysis with the ability to work through key assumptions, implicit caveats, and limitations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese.
- Independent thinker and resourceful problem solver driven to succeed.
- Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
