Labor Relations Director

About the Role
The Electrolux Group is seeking a highly skilled Labor Relations Director to join our team in Latin America. As a key member of our HR sector, you will be responsible for developing and implementing medium and long-term strategies for labor relations, ensuring the effective governance of related policies, procedures, and union relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for labor relations in Latin America, identifying potential risks and mitigating action plans.
- Manage the development, updates, and governance of policies, guidelines, and procedures related to labor relations.
- Provide expert advice to management and employees on labor legislation and relations, minimizing legal risks.
- Develop and lead negotiation strategies and processes for collective bargaining, contract renewals, and disputes with unions.
- Monitor and analyze work-related metrics and trends to identify areas of concern and propose proactive measures.
- Lead the labor relations team in different Electrolux units across Latin America.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, or related fields (MBA in related areas is a plus).
- Extensive experience in labor relations management in Latin America, with expertise in labor law, union negotiations, and labor relations.
- Solid experience in negotiating collective agreements and handling complex cases in labor relations.
- Experience in managing and systemic knowledge of Human Resources areas, such as Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, HRSS, Rewards and Benefits, and Talent Management.
- Experience in team management and project management.
- Advanced English and Spanish language skills.
