Workday Absence Consultant

This role involves supporting technology initiatives, with a focus on absence management and business process configuration. The position plays a key role in ongoing projects to transition from manual absence tracking to full integration with the Workday platform.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Workday, particularly in absence and time tracking, and business process configuration. They will partner with HR teams and Payroll to gather requirements, implement solutions, troubleshoot issues, and drive long-term system improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or support the project rollout of absence and time tracking across countries currently tracking absence outside of Workday.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and other stakeholders to gather business requirements, translate them into system design, and implement solutions.
- Design, configure, and maintain Workday modules including absence, time tracking, and business processes.
- Respond to helpdesk tickets and advanced troubleshooting requests across absence and time modules.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Workday experience, with a focus on absence, time tracking, and business process configuration.
- Proven ability to lead or support Workday implementations, rollouts, or cross-country projects.
- Solid understanding of HR processes and systems architecture.
