Sales Account Manager

At Rakuten Travel Xchange, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with existing partners, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to distribute our accommodation inventory in South America.
Key Responsibilities:- New Business Development: Identify and target prospective clients with a strong presence in the market, conduct thorough market research to understand client needs and industry trends, and assess and evaluate to ensure they meet the criteria for partnership.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, understand client goals and challenges to provide tailored solutions, and serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
- Account Management: Develop and implement upselling strategies to increase booking volume within existing accounts, regularly assess account performance, and provide regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends.
- Graduate with an associate's degree or higher
- Excellent oral and written proficiency in English and Portuguese
- 3-5 years of experience in the Travel/Accommodation industry
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce and XML/API integrations
- Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Outstanding analytical and numerical, and problem-solving skills
