The Territory Sales Development Professional is a key role that requires in-depth knowledge of and experience with sales processes. This individual excels at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for factory automation solutions across assigned accounts.
  • Responsible for involvement from concept to implementation, testing, and handover.
  • Analyze customer needs and propose solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Promote the company's best interests through sales efforts.
  • Become the go-to solution provider in assigned accounts.
  • Achieve a balance of sales by offering all products and services.
  • Continuously grow gross margin in assigned accounts.
  • Perform tasks as directed by management.
  • Familiarize oneself with Employee Handbook.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships within the customer organization.
  • Liaise with engineering teams, clients, and contractors.
  • New business development through lead follow-up and prospecting.
  • Follow up on quotations, negotiate commercial agreements, and persuade customers to place orders.
  • Analyze data to find efficient sales methods.
  • Identify sales opportunities through market research.
  • Participate in industry events to build customer relationships.
  • Evaluate sales performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Monitor competition within assigned territories.
  • Prepare and submit reports to Sales Managers.

  • Highly organized with attention to detail and effective multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance metrics.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Teams for meetings and presentations.
  • Technical knowledge about automation products.
  • Basic understanding of automation technology.
  • Ability to find product and engineering information.
  • Apply and size each product to an appropriate application.
  • Stay up-to-date with new product releases.
  • Seek guidance when unsure of product or technology.
