Passive Candidate Sourcing Specialist

This is a world leader in manufacturing sustainable aluminum packaging. We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Passive Candidate Sourcing Specialist.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have excellent research skills, a keen eye for talent, and the ability to engage potential candidates effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and convert active and passive pipelines candidate targets into engaged and active candidates through outreach and compelling conversations
  • Plan and conduct data-based meetings including intake, candidate debrief, etc., and make sourcing adjustments based on priorities and learnings
  • Partner with Talent team to identify key roles that require shaping passive candidate pool, mostly roles that have smaller candidate pools; work closely with manager to get updated timelines on strategic talent moves to translate that into activation of passive candidates
  • Listen and understand the goals of candidates and assigned hiring teams
  • Effectively screen candidates while piquing their interest in the role and the organization; ensure that candidates moved forward in the process to the TA Manager are likely interested and qualified
  • Provide subject matter expertise, proactive communication, and rapid response to key stakeholders (e.g., TA Manager) to demonstrate credibility, build influence, and ensure the identification and screening of high-quality talent
  • Help the TA and hiring team keep on top of – and make use of – data-based, current talent-related market data and employment trends
  • Leverage tools and technologies (e.g., CRM, etc.) that drive effective passive candidate management and high-quality hiring results
  • Make full and creative use of a wide range of resources, including programs such as referrals and military hiring, and various sources of hires such as 'recycled' candidates, rehires, etc.
  • Use creative and innovative methods to convert a wide variety of candidates, including diverse candidates, by understanding their drivers of choice and the employment value proposition of the company
  • Manage the candidate experience through the hand-off to the TA Manager to ensure candidates are engaged and informed throughout the process
  • Identify and act upon opportunities for improving and expanding passive candidate sourcing and conversion results; provide regular feedback to the TA team or Mgr, Regional TA, where appropriate, regarding the quality of prospective candidate data provided
  • Follow established talent acquisition processes and use of technologies (ATS, CRM, etc.) to ensure data accuracy and process compliance
Requirements:
  • Advanced English, Spanish, and Portuguese are required - mandatory
  • Experience in Talent Acquisition area or other HR related area
  • Experience developing and executing sourcing plans with measurable results - desirable, but not mandatory
  • Experience building candidate pipelines for targeted roles - desirable, but not mandatory
  • Experience engaging candidates and activating passive candidates - desirable, but not mandatory
  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (like Workday, Successfactors or others)
  • Experience in CRM is desirable
  • Experience in Microsoft Office apps - mandatory
