Job DescriptionWe are looking for a talented Android Developer to join our team as a tech transformation specialist. As a member of our development team, you will work closely with an important American client in the Investment Management sector.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the CI&T team to meet the demands of the client in the financial sector.
- Conduct agile deployments, ensuring product quality and stability.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and implement improvements and bug fixes to enhance system performance and user experience.
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient code to support the ongoing development and maintenance of our applications.
- Perform thorough code testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliveries.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Previous experience as an Android Developer using Java and Kotlin.
- Solid experience with the Kotlin language and coding conventions.
- Knowledge of dependency injection techniques with Dagger or Hilt.
- Familiarity with software architectural patterns such as REST, MVVM, MVC, and Clean.
- Experience in unit testing with JUnit and automated UI testing with Espresso.
- Familiarity with componentizing interface elements and basic knowledge of Material Design.
- Experience with code versioning using Git and familiarity with Git Flow while working with multiple teams.
- Knowledge/experience in a mature CI/CD environment with GitHub Actions.
- Conversational level of English.
- Experience in migrating Java to Kotlin in Android applications.
- Experience in migrating from a single-module architecture to multi-module.
- Experience supporting QA Engineers with E2E Automation using Appium.
- Experience with feature toggles and trunk-based development.
- Some experience with or the ability to read and understand Node applications.
- Desired experience with Adobe tools, such as Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, AEM, etc.
