Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Specialist, Data Privacy Compliance.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Americas Data Privacy Officer in delivering the Global Privacy Team's strategy across our business in the Americas region.

Main Responsibilities
  • Monitoring legal and regulatory developments across the region and advising on necessary adaptations and improvements to our Privacy Programme.
  • Serving as a Privacy expert for our Americas businesses and working closely with and advising businesses and clinical leaders, counsel, and other colleagues on all aspects of privacy.
  • Maturing the regional Privacy Programme to develop, refine, and simplify scalable policies, processes, and systems to protect patient, healthcare professional, and employee data while enabling the business to fulfill its mission of creating pioneering healthcare solutions.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a compliance, legal, audit, or risk function with a solid focus in data protection matters, demonstrable experience of leading on a range of privacy projects and issues, strong commercial acumen, skilled collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a team player with a can-do approach.
