About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Controllership: You will be responsible for understanding actuals, challenging variances, and tracking action plans to bring financial results back to plan when necessary and possible.
  2. Financial Modeling: You will provide analytical support and validate financial and operational results of the business.
  3. Financial Controls: You will ensure a high level of financial controls are followed and maintain data integrity.
  4. Business Partnership: You will actively partner with business teams to drive growth and profitability.
  5. Financial Reporting: You will provide accurate and insightful financial reports.
  6. Process Improvement: You will identify opportunities to use global standards and transfer repetitive tasks to central teams.
Requirements
  1. Finance Experience: You must have experience in finance or a related analytical field.
  2. Technical Skills: You must have advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounts receivable or account payable.
  3. Analytical Skills: You must have experience in applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses and building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making.
  4. Leadership Skills: You must have experience in team management and leading continuous improvement projects.
  5. Education: You must have an MBA or CPA.
  6. Technical Tools: You must have experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as SQL, MSAccess, Essbase, or Cognos.
