Software Team Lead Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Team Lead to oversee the development of our SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to guide a team of developers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Development Oversight: Ensure high-quality code and scalable architecture for our SaaS platform.
  • Team Guidance: Mentor and guide a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • System Design: Design and architect the overall system structure, ensuring it is robust, scalable, and secure.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, integrating them into the development process where appropriate.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute development sprints, ensuring timely delivery of features and updates.
  • Code Quality Assurance: Conduct regular code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure comprehensive testing of the platform.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve complex technical challenges related to the platform.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a team lead or senior developer role, with excellent team management skills.
  • Strong experience in designing and architecting scalable and secure systems.
  • Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Strong backend development skills with Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of database management systems, including SQL (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of data security, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
