
Millwork Sales Consultant

Key roles for this position include identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, as well as completing sales transactions for millwork projects.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in selling interior and exterior millwork products is required, along with expertise in interior casework sales and design, field experience in the millwork and construction industry, and the ability to read blueprints and contract documents.
- The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of specifications, codes, and product submittal processes for millwork projects, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Responsibilities will include meeting or exceeding sales and profit targets, creating proposals for presentation to general contractors and builders, and ensuring customer satisfaction by assisting with take-offs and communicating scheduling and delivery commitments.
This individual will work closely with store representatives to address questions and assist in closing sales during the presentation process. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential for success in this role.
A proven track record of generating new sales opportunities, maintaining successful business relationships, and improving profitability is critical for this position. Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to review scope of work in awarded contracts and plan shipments to meet deadlines.
