Cloud Architect Position

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architect to design and develop cloud-native applications from the ground up.

This role involves instrumental participation in designing and implementing core backend services using modern, serverless, and event-driven stacks on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure services and cloud-based application development.

The selected candidate will be responsible for architecting solutions on Azure, making key decisions about which services and patterns to use to meet scalability and performance requirements. They will also collaborate closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical specifications.

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering complex backend solutions using the .NET ecosystem.
  • Extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable RESTful APIs.
  • Strong expertise in MS SQL Server, including query optimization and database design.
  • Solid knowledge of Azure services and cloud-based application development.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with the Azure ecosystem, specifically for building serverless and event-driven architectures. They should also be proficient in Azure Functions, API Management, and Application Insights.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and own end-to-end features for our cloud-native platform, from technical design to deployment and monitoring.
  • Architect and implement solutions on Azure, making key decisions about which services and patterns to use to meet scalability and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical specifications.
  • Champion best practices in code quality, testing, and CI/CD.

  • Proficiency in C# and .NET 6/.NET Core. Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, and Application Insights.
