We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Data Infrastructure team. As a key member of our Platform team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining all backend services, including payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs.

This role is ideal for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, and has experience creating exceptional user experiences that delight users. We value innovation, intuition, and drive in our team members.

You will work closely with our Scientists to optimize the cost-throughput-quality frontier, delivering richer data at larger scales and lower costs to power our next-generation models. You will also collaborate with others on the AI Team and Leadership to craft the AI Team's dataset roadmap to power Speechify's next-generation consumer and enterprise products.

To succeed in this role, you should have a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field, 5+ years of industry experience in software development, and proficiency with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments. You should also be able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
