We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data management team, you will be responsible for identifying optimal paradigms and technology choices for batch and real-time machine learning scenarios.
This role requires expertise in writing highly efficient Spark jobs to process large datasets. You will also collect heuristics and optimize Spark jobs on large Hadoop clusters, ensuring high availability, security, and resilience through DevOps practices on AWS.
- Design and implement efficient data processing pipelines using Spark and Hadoop.
- Develop and maintain large-scale data systems, including data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in software development.
- 5+ years of experience in Big Data technologies.
- Proficient analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with managing data loads and data quality (a plus).
- Advanced English level.
