Transforming Energy: An Electrical Engineer Role

This role involves working as a key member of the R&D Team in Blumenau, Brazil, where you will contribute to the development of projects related to the electrical performance of distribution transformers. Your responsibilities will include proposing and analyzing innovative ideas in the electrical design of distribution transformers, defining Design of Experiments (DoE) to validate proposed solutions, designing and supervising the manufacturing and testing of prototypes, and leading R&D project execution to ensure performance, timelines, and costs are within expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Design and analyze novel electrical transformer designs to meet demanding technical requirements.
- Develop and implement Designs of Experiments (DoE) to verify proposed electrical design solutions.
- Supervise the production and testing of experimental transformer prototypes.
- Manage the execution of research and development projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and optimal performance.
- Hold a Master's degree or be pursuing one in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on power machinery.
- Possess extensive knowledge in Power Transformers and Electromagnetism.
- Have expertise in using software tools such as Creo, COMSOL, and Maxwell.
- Preference given to candidates with experience in the energy sector or academic research.
- Proficient in English language with advanced proficiency level.
This position requires occasional travel, approximately 15 days per year.
