We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join our team at LaFinteca. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization remains compliant with all relevant regulatory requirements.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities. You will work closely with various departments to ensure integrated compliance efforts across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Implement AML programs in accordance with BACEN regulations and ensure ongoing compliance;
  • Create and maintain detailed reports for submission to the Brazilian Central Bank (BACEN) and other relevant authorities;
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate regulatory and financial crime risks effectively;
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure integrated compliance efforts across the organization;
  • Monitor and analyze changes in regulatory requirements, updating internal policies and procedures as necessary;
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, with a relevant professional qualification;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Compliance role, preferably in the Brazilian financial services sector;
  • Deep knowledge of the Brazilian regulatory environment, particularly related to payment systems and markets;
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English, with Spanish being highly valued;
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to motivate and lead others;
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to analyze complex information and drive resolutions.
