Senior Operations Engineer
Job Overview:The Senior Operations Engineer uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to enhance the Operations Engineering discipline within McDermott. They will serve as a resource for colleagues with less experience and share their conceptual and practical expertise related to the Operations Engineering discipline.
- Develop and implement effective strategies and plans for project execution, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and efficiency metrics.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and manage all aspects of EPCI projects, including engineering, procurement, construction, and installation activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry codes, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities for streamlining operational processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to developing and implementing effective strategies and plans for project execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Essential qualifications and education include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Petroleum Engineering), and minimum of 5 years in a similar capacity with proven experience in operations engineering within the EPCI industry.
