Financial Crime Specialist

The Role:

This position involves safeguarding our customers and business from financial crimes by identifying and reporting suspicious activities. The right candidate will have expertise in analyzing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial transactions for potential red flags related to money laundering, fraud, or other financial crimes.
  • Draft and submit reports based on findings, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle reports with the highest level of integrity.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in both Portuguese and English is required, with excellent writing and speaking abilities in both languages.
  • Previous experience in a financial crime-related field (AML, fraud detection) is a plus, but not essential. We are open to candidates who are detail-oriented, willing to learn, and possess transferable skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze financial transactions, identify patterns, and make informed decisions based on regulatory requirements and risk factors.
  • Effective communication skills, particularly for drafting clear, detailed reports.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities with precision and accuracy.
  • Ethical integrity, understanding the importance of confidentiality and ethical considerations in financial crime investigations.
