We are seeking a highly skilled AV installation and maintenance specialist to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining various AV and IT equipment in our studios.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and configure AV and IT equipment according to provided plans or diagrams.
- Assemble and test professional video cameras, including lenses, onboard monitors, and power supplies.
- Install video cameras in the studio and connect them via SDI wires to server room equipment.
- Evaluate digital video signals from cameras to ensure they reach the desired equipment.
- Run low-voltage wiring through studios and facilities, installing server racks, cameras, NVR/DVR, and other infrastructure.
- Perform installations, including wiring, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Install studio lighting fixtures and modifiers according to lighting schemes.
- Analyze and repair technical faults on equipment and systems.
- Experience with assembling, disassembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing computers/hardware.
- Familiarity with basic test equipment, such as multimeters, and AC/DC circuitry knowledge is preferred.
- Skills in installing and soldering components on printed circuit boards following specifications.
- Brief knowledge of installing operating systems like Windows and Linux.
- Ability to install and configure computer peripheral devices and drivers.
- Understanding of television control room environments.
- Eagerness to learn new technical skills.
- Brief understanding of sound equipment, such as microphones and audio mixers.
