We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to lead the development and implementation of quality strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Project Quality Management: Develop and implement quality plans, ensure quality requirements are met, and act as a liaison between engineering, procurement, suppliers, and customers.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the Quality Engineering team, promoting continuous learning, team engagement, and alignment with organizational strategic goals.
- Performance and KPI Management: Monitor and analyze key quality performance indicators, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to drive continuous improvement.
- Skill Development: Identify and address skill gaps within the team, providing training and coaching to enhance their abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Technology Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in heavy manufacturing environments and complex projects.
- Familiarity with international standards such as AWS, CWB, ASME, and EN.
- Experience in audits and inspections of global suppliers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, corporate email, SAP, or similar manufacturing business systems.
- Advanced English (written, spoken, and reading) and intermediate Spanish.
- Strong technical communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in multicultural and multilingual environments.
