Senior Research Scientist

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Senior Research Scientist to join our team of experts in structural design.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital processes, methods, and tools, with experience in conducting research and developing solutions for complex engineering problems.

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and maintain payload system and component designs using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and other design methods.

  • Conduct in-depth research in structural design, emphasizing digital processes and methods.
  • Develop and implement new design solutions using computer-aided design software and other tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design processes and tools across all disciplines.
  • Present complex engineering results in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.

This role requires strong verbal and written communication skills in English, as well as a degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering. Relevant experience in scripting/coding, CAD/CAM software, and Agile methodologies is also desirable.

Requirements:
  • Existing rights to work in Brazil.
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
  • Must have a degree in Engineering in Aeronautical, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (CREA).
