Key Roles and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, debugging, and implementing operating systems components, software tools, and utilities. This will involve determining systems software design requirements and ensuring that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.

Additionally, the Data Analyst Assistant I will provide administrative or technical support at a specialist level and independently perform a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. They will train, delegate, and review the work of lower-level employees and make minor adjustments and enhancements to working methods to improve effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, tests, debugs, and implements operating systems components, software tools, and utilities.
  • Determines systems software design requirements.
  • Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency.
  • Generates systems software engineering policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Makes recommendations for new procedures.

Requirements:

  • Two year college degree or equivalent experience and minimum five years' functional experience.
  • OR HS diploma or equivalent and a minimum 8 years of functional including 4 years position specific experience.
