Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and expertise in data modeling, advanced SQL, and cloud environments.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining distributed data pipelines using tools such as Dataproc, PySpark, and Dataflow.

They will also have experience in working with containers and master orchestration solutions, such as Kubernetes.

In addition, they will be familiar with good software development practices, including clean code, implementation of automated testing, version control, and documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in data modeling and advanced knowledge of SQL
  • Practical experience in Cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Previous experience in data architectures and building pipelines in Cloud environments
  • Solid experience in distributed data processing, using tools like Dataproc, PySpark, and Dataflow
  • Established practice in applying good software practices, including clean code, implementation of automated testing, version control, and documentation
  • Experience in the use of container technology (such as Docker) and container orchestration, preferably Kubernetes
  • Track record of working with processing and analyzing large volumes of data (Big Data)
  • Experience in environments that adopt modern continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
