Job Description:
As a key member of our leadership team, the Lead Retail Excellence Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence, consistent brand standards, and best-in-class service execution across all retail touchpoints.
The ideal candidate combines strategic retail leadership, a passion for luxury beauty, and a deep understanding of the retail landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, and manage the Retail Field Team to ensure performance, motivation, and alignment with brand standards.
- Drive sales and productivity KPIs across the retail network, identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Ensure a luxury client experience in every store by maintaining high standards of customer service and boutique operations.
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure flawless in-store execution.
- Retail Excellence & Performance Management:
- Implement global and regional retail excellence strategies tailored to the market.
- Develop and monitor store performance dashboards and lead monthly performance reviews.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and retail audit protocols, identifying and correcting gaps.
- Launch and track local initiatives that enhance the customer journey and increase loyalty.
- Oversee the Training Department to design and deliver impactful training programs for beauty advisors and field teams (sales, product knowledge, clienteling, service standards).
- Partner with HQ and regional teams to localize and implement global training content.
- Drive the development and upskilling of retail talent, from onboarding to advanced coaching.
- Establish a feedback loop from the field to continuously evolve training content based on market needs.
- Build and maintain a high-performance culture through effective leadership, coaching, and succession planning.
- Conduct regular store visits to engage with teams and ensure alignment on brand vision and priorities.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and grow top-tier retail talent.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; MBA a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in retail leadership roles.
- Mandatory previous experience in the luxury beauty or luxury fashion industry.
- Proven experience managing large field teams and training functions.
- Strong understanding of the retail landscape, consumer behavior, and luxury expectations.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English.
- French is a plus.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Data-driven mindset with a passion for excellence and innovation.
